Don’t Go Out There.

Basically for me don’t go out there is the best Horror movie review out there no pun intended.

I was listening to another podcast when I lived in France with my work and they mentioned you guys, I can’t remember the name of there pod but subsequently stopped listening to them as they were quite dull compared to the laugh you guys have each and every time you record, I am 100% Irish born and bread so it’s important for me that people have a sense of humour and you guys have it.

The content is always great and I love how you have a selection of guys with different opinions that’s what it’s all about horror and humour it’s all subjective and when I hear you guys agree on something and disagree on others it just proves that you are hear for the horror and to be honest in your opinion.

I am a Halloween hardcore fan you may have picked that up from time to time in my comments and loved all the Halloween reviews you have done Including that piece of shit movie Rob zombie H2 the night the white horse came back, anyway I just wanted to say the pod cast is excellent you guys are entertaining as fuk and long may it last lads thank you.

If you like horror movies and just a great listening experience the Don’t Go Out There Horror Movie Review Podcast is a go to! Not only are you listening to them talk about these movies and break it down but it feels like you are involved too. Just a normal day with the DGOT guys. They are hilarious and the vibe is there! They delve into the movies with such knowledge and different opinions on each one so not all reviews and discussions are the same. Everyone has their own perspective and it brings so much character to the show! There is so much to dive into when it comes to the horror movie genre and these guys know how to make it great! It’s my go to podcast that I listen to while I’m pretty much doing anything in my life. Thanks guys for the great podcast!

I recently discovered this podcast a couple months ago and have been binge listening to it every day! Great podcast talking about one of my favourite movie genres, horror

Love the setup of each episode, the scene by scene is my favourite, as well as the fun facts. You guys are so easy to listen to and I just love the accents!

Great humour throughout the show (need to bring back call me sometime, haha!) and overall, just a great easy horror movie loving podcast to check out.

And some you may have never heard before .They also love chatting up with fans asking them question about what they think of the films and which theme or how they can improve I love these guys even tho they are Florida state fans. 5 stars and like joe Bob says check them out!

Don’t Go Go Out There horror movie review podcast is one of my absolute favorites. Nicoh, Dustin, Bryan, and Mike are hilarious, witty, detailed, and true passionate fans of horror and the horror community. Started listening to this podcast in March 2020 right after the COVID-19 pandemic had started and I am very glad I did. It was nice to have something as a fun distraction in such a dark time. Very refreshing to hear thoughtful, respectful, and informative horror content from four different points of view. The dialogue is organic and the humor flows well. Four cool dudes that I would sit down and have a beer with. Five Stars from me.

My favorite podcast not just in the horror genre but in general. I schedule mowing my lawn around when new episodes drop so I can listen to them while mowing! I love the scene by scene breakdown cause it really helps paint a picture in your head. Its nice when they review a movie that I love but gets alot of hate and atleast one of them agrees with me. The guys are very relatable and you feel like a part of the group every time you listen. 10/10 no better podcast in the world in my opinion!

Let me just say, the “Don’t Go Out There Podcast” has become one of my instant go-to’s when in need of a fun, easy, and relaxing time discussing the great medium of the Horror genre in film. The dedication and quality from the 4 hosts has always and continues to be consistent, enlightening, thought provoking, and challenging of the status quo. I love this podcast. If you love movies like I do, consider it. It’s one of those podcast that you subscribe to that you didn’t know you needed until it hits your feed. Four friends sitting around talking movies they love or love to hate feels like being wrapped in a warm blanket and brightens your day just the right amount. I love it and often find myself eagerly anticipating the next episode. It’s cool that they mix in interviews, ranking shows and Insta React shows as well. Give it a shot. But whatever you do, DON’T GO OUT THERE!!!!!!

The Don’t Go Out There Horror Movie Podcast is one that I binged when I found it and I continue to listen to. The format of the show is one that I can appreciate. Nicoh does a great job recapping the movies with the scene by scenes. It’s fun to hear how each person has different perspectives on the scenes with likes and dislikes. As someone who listens first about movies I haven’t seen and then watches the movie - I find it to be more enjoyable because in the back of my mind I’m referring back to what the guys talked about and it’s like I’m watching the movie with friends.

I listened for awhile before ever commenting on any of the social media due to social anxiety but when I did finally start communicating the guys responded in kind and now I’m not so scared to add my opinion. In a way the podcast has made me more open about my love for horror and all things scary.

I managed to go to my first horror convention because I wanted to meet the icons that they had on their show for interviews. And when I met them I brought up the podcast! And that allowed me to have a genuine conversation which would not have happened without the Don’t Go Out There Horror Movie Review Podcast!

A casual, scene-by-scene look at horror movies with an honest and unabashed opinion was exactly what I was looking for when I found this podcast!

Nicoh, Mike, Bryan and Dustin all have different preferences when it comes to horror, so the conversations are never one-sided. The hosts are each passionate about their own favourite franchises, which leads to some fun back and forth. 

If you don’t feel like listening to a full-length movie review, there are plenty of interview episodes, or you can check out a franchise rankings video where the guys rank all of the movies in a franchise from poorest to best. 

What I really enjoy about this podcast is the range of movies that are covered. From the original Friday the 13th (1980) to the latest Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie (2022) - the guys don’t shy away from the classics or new releases. The hosts also aren’t afraid to cover movies that are not traditionally considered “horror” movies - see “Law Abiding Citizen” - or movies that overall are just weird - see “Rubber”. 

The format is simple and consistent - Nicoh elaborates on a few scenes at a time and then opens the floor to Bryan, Mike and Dustin for discussion until they reach the end of the movie. At the end the guys discuss their final thoughts, fun facts about the movie and give the film a rating out of 10. 

As opposed to some other podcasts that stray a bit off topic, the DGOT guys are great at staying on track. The episodes aren’t full of unrelated banter or ads, and the runtime is just right.  If you’re looking for a horror movie review podcast that is both in-depth and hilarious, this is it!

Fun Fact (see what I did there!) about me is before The Don’t Go Out There Podcast, I had never listened to ANY podcast. (No, not even Joe Rogan.) Nothing podcasts had to offer really interested me enough to want to casually listen to other people’s opinions on anything… until this one.
If you’ve listened to the pod you probably have heard my voice before, as I am THE number one fan! My love of all things horror started at a young age when my mom introduced me and my 3 siblings to the genre, and we’ve all been “hooked” ever since!
What I love most about this Podcast is the genuine bond these guys have made with a community. Why do we come back for every episode? Because of the amount of effort they put in just so we have something to enjoy. From good old-fashioned reviews, to some of the biggest names in horror being interviewed! (Hi Kane! Call me sometime 😉!!)
I’ll end with this: this podcast has really grown to reach so many people in such a short amount of time. It is so awesome to see something we all share a love for really blossom into something so great! I’m proud to call you guys my friends, and it can only go up from here!

Don’t Go Out There is my go to podcast for horror movies. The guys on the show are great and they stick to the movies being reviewed and not politics like some other podcast I’ve listened to.
