A Dream Come True

On September 6 I tweeted that myself, Mike, and Drew should do our own horror podcast since we’d always talked about it on twitter. On 9/25 me and Mike started chit chatting with Bryan about the Friday the 13th remake. Little did I know what would come just a few months later. The reason I wanted to do my own horror pod with these fine gentleman was because I just couldn’t find any other shows to keep me entertained besides the Dead Meat podcast. His Halloween 18 review was the inspiration behind the Don’t Go Out There podcast.

Episode 1- we were extremely nervous on what the heck to do. Episode 2, I completely forgot to turn my mic on and ruined a really good show. It took a few shows but I feel like we have a really good format going. Back in September of 2019, I never would’ve fathomed that we’d have the great Robert Englund on our show, Kane Hodder, Adam Marcus, CJ Graham, Lisa Wilcox, Lar Park-Lincoln, Linden Porco, Vince Mattis and who knows who will come on next?! My mind can’t wrap around I’ve gotten to speak to some of my favorite icons of the genre I love most.

I’m writing this to say this, I am not a podcast expert by any means. I’m just an average Joe who took a chance with some great friends and have done things I’d never have believed going into it. We may never get a sponsor, or make it big but I am beyond proud of the hard work my fellow cohosts and myself have put into this show and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us!
